Today is the happiest day of my life as it is a full year that I had my 2B license. I will be taking my 2A latest end of February. I dreamed of following my bro footstep in riding a 1000cc and nothing smaller than that.
Today is also the day that I have my Singapore Motorcycle Tour (SMT) sticker on my front mudguard. I’ve asked that sticker from my bro ever since I’m riding my Kr150. It is an honor to have the sticker and to ride with it. The first reaction I got from my girlfriend is “Jibai I ask you put Hello Kitty you duno put what sticker.” She is very supportive indeed. Somehow I will put it some place not so visibly obvious.
Today is also a frightening day of my life. I was on the way to one of the shopping centre in Woodlands when I nearly fall of a left corner to
At that shopping centre when we were waiting for Ama and Dan, Kai told me, “Zack, I want to try to scrap my footrest on the ground, open my knee and see whether my knee can touch the ground. Anything if I fall, help me out.” He soon tried out the right hand corner while Jepon helped him pressed the pedestrian crossing. After 2 or 3 times trying, Dan came down and smoked beside me. Kai dropped his gear too late, making him aiming for the centre divider. When he tried to avoid that centre divider, he realized that he was then aiming for the left kerb. He went lower, scrapped his footrest, scrapped his knee, scrapped his arms and his head hit the divider. He was lucky to get away such fall so quickly that he was able to stand up and sit beside us.
His failure but I believe he will learn his lesson. Not a lesson to stop from cornering, but a lesson to learn from it and try harder. Failure brings you a step closer to success.
